Tamaki AKA the Header Story

So was just a wondering how many of you saw Tamaki in our header photo.  Pretty cute huh.  He was so hidden, that he almost got walked over by Tom and the dog.  I guess he was so sure he was hidden that he didn't even move, which is why I was able to get this photo.

Liberty Blue

So heres a question for you. Have you ever heard of Staffordshire Ironstone Liberty Blue dishware?  I hadn't until just a few months ago.  And I should have heard about it a long while ago.  Liberty Blue is a line of dishware that was offered for the Bicentennial of America.  The dishes were made in England no less.  Now there is some history for you.  Each size plate has a different scene on it of American History. This plate which I found at a thrift store has the Independance Hall on it.  It is truly beautiful.  My new love.
So how did I hear about it?  From a random Blog I was browsing.  Oh the things we learn.  Having lived thru the time when this first came out, I have no idea why I didn't learn of it then.

We were able to squeeze in one beach night before Jennifer and Marc moved to Idaho,  It was a fun and beautiful night.  I happend to drop by the next night after shopping and before going home, and it was cloudy and rained.  So we were very lucky, and thankful.
